SEMITRON ESD 410C / 420 (High Compression Molded Electrostatic-Dissipative PEI)

SEMITRON ESd 410C / 420 (High Compression Molded ESD PEI)

Features:

Semitron® ESd 410C / 420 is an electrostatic-dissipative polyetherimide. This material has the same general properties as PEI but with static dissipative properties throughout, resistivity in the range of 10^6 to 10^9. It is thermally stable to temperatures of 420°F (215°C) without degradation. Semitron® ESd is a family of static dissipative ESD plastic products designed for use where electrical discharge in operation is a problem. Semitron® ESd products are inherently dissipative. They do not rely on atmospheric phenomena (humidity) to activate, nor are surface treatments used to achieve dissipation. Static electricity is dissipated through these products as readily as it is dissipated along the surface.
